Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of LogCast, a log analysis service operated by Nonatomic (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

LogCast is an AI-powered log analysis platform. You upload log files, configure analysis prompts and report formats, and receive structured analysis generated by third-party large language model (LLM) providers.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use this service.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

LogCast is designed exclusively for log file analysis. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any purpose other than analysing log files and related technical data.
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent the prompt validation or security systems.
  • Use the service to extract capabilities from the underlying AI models beyond log analysis.
  • Share your account or API keys with unauthorised parties.

4. Data Processing & AI Providers

Your uploaded log files are sent to third-party AI providers for analysis. Currently, we use Anthropic (Claude) as our primary AI provider, with scope to include OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and xAI (Grok) in the future.

Before your log data reaches any AI provider, our automated redaction engine scans for and replaces detected sensitive information including API keys, authentication tokens, credit card numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, and other personally identifiable information. 5. Limitation of Liability — Data Sanitisation

While we apply automated redaction to your log files before AI processing, this is provided as a best-effort measure and is not guaranteed to catch all sensitive information.

Automated pattern matching cannot detect every possible form of sensitive data, particularly custom formats, obfuscated values, or domain-specific identifiers. You are solely responsible for sanitising your log files before upload to remove any information you do not want processed by third-party AI services.

Nonatomic accepts no liability for sensitive information that passes through our redaction system and is processed by AI providers. By using this service, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Uploaded log files are stored in your private storage bucket and are accessible only to you.
  • Analysis results are retained until you delete them or your account.
  • You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • We do not retain copies of your data after deletion, except where required by law.

7. Subscription & Billing

LogCast offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your log files, analysis prompts, report formats, and analysis results. We claim no ownership over your content. We retain ownership of the LogCast service, its design, and underlying technology.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through Settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
